The Library is partnering with Summit County Job and Family Services to offer one-on-one, on-site office hours with case managers at select locations.

Case managers can assist with:
- Submitting documents
- Applying or reapplying for assistance
- Reporting case changes
- Case or eligibility questions
Summit County Job and Family Services Case Managers are available at these locations from 10 am-12 pm & 1-4 pm:
- Goodyear Branch Library - First Monday of the month - March 2, April 6, May 4
- Portage Lakes Branch - First Monday of the month - March 2, April 6, May 4
- Highland Square Branch Library – First Tuesday of the month - March 3, April 7, May 5
- Green Branch Library - Second Monday of the month - March 9, April 13, May 11
- Firestone Park Branch Library - Second Wednesday of the month - March 11, April 8, May 13
- Northwest Akron Branch Library - Third Monday of the month - March 16, April 20, May 18
- Odom Boulevard Branch Library – Third Tuesday of the month - March 17, April 21, May 197
- Maple Valley Branch Library - Fourth Monday of the month - March 23, April 27 (No office hours on May 25 - Memorial Day)
- Main Library - Last Thursday of the month - March 26, April 30, May 28
Summit County Job and Family Services Case Managers are available at these locations from 12-4 pm:
- Springfield-Lakemore Branch Library - Second Tuesday of the month - March 10, April 14, May 12
- North Hill Branch Library - Fourth Tuesday of the month - March 24, April 28, May 26

Drive-up Window closes fifteen minutes before the building closes for the day.
Main Library, located in the heart of downtown Akron, combines compelling public space with meaningful and relevant public library services for all members of our community. Since opening in 2004, the downtown library welcomes more than one million visitors each year.
Subject divisions include: Business, Government & Science, Culture & AV, Magazines & Newspapers, Special Collections (local history & genealogy), TechZone@Main, Teen, and a 12,000 square feet Children's Library.
Special services available at Main Library include: a Patent & Trademark Resource Center; U.S. Passport and Notary services; a Microbusiness Center; a Maker Space; a resource lab for early childhood educators; and regularly scheduled computer training classes. Also available at Main Library are more than 125 public access computers, color photocopiers/printers, laminating, scanning, faxing, and free Wi-Fi.
Specialized spaces include a 425-seat auditorium, public meeting rooms, and a used bookstore. An interior glass block walkway leads to a 600-space parking garage owned by the City of Akron. An outdoor amphitheater and landscaped park complete the complex.
