This month we feature author Margaret Truman, known for the "Capital Crimes" mystery series. Each book offers a stand-alone mystery, making it easy for new readers to jump in at any point.

The Capital Crimes series is a collection of gripping mystery novels set against the backdrop of political intrigue and scandal in Washington, D.C.

Launched by Margaret Truman, the daughter of former U.S. President Harry S. Truman, the series has captivated readers with its blend of suspense and insight into the corridors of power.

Although the characters and plots vary, the series is united by its thrilling exploration of crime and punishment in America’s capital.

With the passing of Margaret Truman, author Donald Bain has continued the legacy of the series, maintaining the intricate storytelling and the richly detailed world that fans have come to love.
