Learn to play the ukulele in one class! Attendees will learn how to hold, tune, strum, and finger chords C, F, and G7 on a standard-tuned (soprano, concert, or tenor) ukulele.

This beginner ukulele course is designed to provide adults with a solid foundation in playing the ukulele.

Participants will acquire the knowledge to read chord charts and fake sheets, and will play together in a supportive environment.

By the end of this course, you will have the skills to play some of your favorite songs and the confidence to continue your ukulele journey on your own.

This class is open to adults of all skill levels, and no prior musical experience is necessary. Students are encouraged to bring their own ukuleles, though a limited number will be available during the course.

Instructor Lisa is an active ukulele performer and instructor who teaches kindergarten through grade 5 general music in Seville, Ohio. In 2020, Lisa appeared on the Cleveland TV show "Live on Lakeside" to encourage viewers to learn to play ukulele. Over the course of her career, Lisa has taught ukulele to hundreds of children and adults.
