North Parking LotPortage Path Behavioral Health will be on-site to offer mental health resources through its Mobile Therapy Center, supporting adults in recovery from mental conditions and substance use disorders.
The Library is partnering with Portage Path Behavioral Health to bring the Mobile Therapy Center (MTC) to library users. The MTC is a 35-foot RV outfitted with a private room for free mental health screenings and other services. During visits, Portage Path staff will provide free resources, giveaways, and information.
Regardless of insurance status or ability to pay, Portage Path guides adults in recovery from mental health conditions and substance use disorders. For callers in Summit County, Portage Path is also the local call center for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. To learn more, visit portagepath.org.
The Mobile Therapy Center is available at these locations from 10 am - 2 pm:
- Maple Valley (Second Tuesday of the month) – September 8, October 13
- North Hill (Second Thursday of the month) - September 10, October 8
- Firestone Park (Third Wednesday of the month) – September 16, October 21
- Kenmore (Fourth Tuesday of the month) - September 22, October 27
Note: The vehicle will be parked on Kenmore Blvd. in front of the Library. At all other library locations, it will be parked in the library parking lot.
Services will be moved indoors in the event of snow.

The Firestone Park Branch Library has the tools and resources that customers need to meet their personal and professional goals—computers and computer classes, mini-clinics for one-on-one tech assistance, WiFi, printing, copying, scanning, faxing, and more. A rich collection of books, music, and movies, including a large Parent-Teacher collection, complements these services, offering learning and entertainment opportunities responsive to the needs and interests of the Firestone Park community.
The Firestone Park Branch Library is also a neighborhood hub for programming for all ages—storytime for the youngest customers, Fun Club for school-age visitors, teen gaming and crafting, adult learning opportunities, and an evolving NatureConnect space that inspires outdoor exploration programming across the seasons. Firestone Branch Library staff is out in the community—at schools and local events—and at the library to bring educational and entertainment resources to all.
