Parking LotPortage Path Behavioral Health will be on-site to offer mental health resources through its Mobile Therapy Center, supporting adults in recovery from mental conditions and substance use disorders.
The Library is partnering with Portage Path Behavioral Health to bring the Mobile Therapy Center (MTC) to library users. The MTC is a 35-foot RV outfitted with a private room for free mental health screenings and other services. During visits, Portage Path staff will provide free resources, giveaways, and information.

Regardless of insurance status or ability to pay, Portage Path guides adults in recovery from mental health conditions and substance use disorders. For callers in Summit County, Portage Path is also the local call center for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. To learn more, visit portagepath.org.
The Mobile Therapy Center is available at these locations from 10 am - 2 pm:
- Maple Valley (Second Tuesday of the month) – June 9, July 14, August 11
- North Hill (Second Thursday of the month) - June 11, July 9, August 13
- Firestone Park (Third Wednesday of the month) – July 15, August 19 (No visit on June 17)
- Kenmore (Fourth Tuesday of the month) - June 23, July 28, August 25
Note: The vehicle will be parked on Kenmore Blvd. in front of the Library. At all other library locations, it will be parked in the library parking lot.

About the branch
The Maple Valley Branch Library is a key component of a neighborhood that finds a welcoming community gathering place within its walls. Artwork features local artists Debra Calhoun, Melissa Daubert, and the late Miller Horns, and a plaque pays tribute to poet and Maple Valley childhood customer Rita Dove. Rich book, movie, and music collections celebrate, among other genres, the extensive contribution of African-Americans to the arts, literature. In addition, the library is a hub of activity that ranges from computers and computer classes, WiFi, printing, copying, scanning and faxing, to hundreds of programs for all ages on themes as diverse as local history, book discussions, crafting, storytelling, homework help, and more.
Local non-profit groups meet at the Maple Valley Branch Library frequently, and Library staff can be found participating in events at local schools and as participants in community organizations working toward neighborhood success. Maple Valley Branch Library is the one-stop spot for education, creativity, and entertainment to suit all interests.
