Join local author and environmental advocate Kate Valentine—founder of the NEO LEAP environmental action organization—as she explores how soil, insects, microorganisms, plants, and trees work together to sustain life on Earth. Her talk emphasizes the urgency of environmental action and highlights easy, earth-friendly habits we can adopt in our own yards. These simple changes not only support a healthier planet but can also lead to more beautiful landscapes with less effort, all while helping to reverse the damage caused by conventional landscaping practices.
