Presenter April Parms Jones is a fourth-generation Akronite. She is passionate about community gardens, farmers' markets, and creating a reasonably priced food system. She is a facilitator, writer, public speaker, consultant, book reviewer, event planner, and more. She contributes content to her blog Frolicking Americana, and to publications such as Mother Earth, Country Lore, The Natural Farmer, Grit, Growing for Market, Ark Republic, Farm and Dairy, Ecoparent Magazine, Growers and Co., and more. April is an Ecoparent Magazine Emerging Leader in food and agriculture nominee.
