What is guardianship and will it help my family? Probate Court is the Superior Guardian of over 2200 people in Summit County. We can clearly explain the importance and process of a guardianship for adults who need extra care due to a decline in cognitive or physical abilities or those who are developmentally disabled. Information can also be shared on marriage licenses, name changes, and adoptions.
