Meet the second Thursday evening of every month at Akronym Brewing to think and drink like the ancient Greek philosophers! The Library does not provide food and drink; however, a drink discount for beer/wine on tap is available.
In March, we will be reading & discussing “Nuts and Bolts: Seven Small Inventions That Changed the World (in a Big Way)” by Roma Agrawal. This shortlisted book for the 2023 Royal Society Science Book Prize by a structural engineer examines the seven most basic building blocks of our modern world--the nail, the wheel, the spring, the magnet, the lens, the string, and the pump.
