February 1, 6:30 pm: My Man Godfrey (1936)
Carole Lombard and William Powell pair up in this classic screwball comedy where a cockeyed socialite hires a Depression-era vagrant to be the family butler. Directed by Gregory La Cava, with Eugene Pallette, Jean Dixon, Alan Mowbray, and Mischa Auer, 94 min.
February 8, 6:30 pm: Easy Living (1937)
Preston Sturges wrote the script for this charming vehicle for Jean Arthur and Ray Milland. When Edward Arnold throws his wife’s fur coat off the roof, it lands on Arthur, and chaos ensues when his son gets thrown into the mix. Directed by Mitchell Leisen, with Franklin Pangborn and William Demarest, 88 min.
February 15, 6:30 pm: Pat and Mike (1952)
Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy team up as an athlete and her manager. Her performances are flawless, except when her fiancé is around, so Tracy schemes to separate them as much as possible. With a sparkling script by Ruth Gordon and Garson Kanin, directed by Geroge Cukor, 95 min.
February 22, 6:30 pm: The Glass Key (1942)
Veronica Lake and Alan Ladd find romance in the world of crooked politicians, gangsters, and murder. Based on the Dashiell Hammett novel, with Brian Donlevy and William Bendix, 85 min.
February 29, 6:30 pm: Holiday (1938)
Katherine Hepburn is the sister of Cary Grant’s fiancé, but they find that their own eccentricities are more aligned. Another George Cukor charmer, with Lew Ayres, Doris Nolan, and the wonderful coupling of Edward Everett Horton and Jean Dixon, 95 min.

Main Library, located in the heart of downtown Akron, combines compelling public space with meaningful and relevant public library services for all members of our community. Since opening in 2004, the downtown library welcomes more than one million visitors each year.
Subject divisions include: Business, Government & Science, Culture & AV, Magazines & Newspapers, Special Collections (local history & genealogy), TechZone@Main, Teen, and a 12,000 square feet Children's Library.
Special services available at Main Library include: a Patent & Trademark Resource Center; U.S. Passport and Notary services; a Microbusiness Center; a Maker Space; a resource lab for early childhood educators; and regularly scheduled computer training classes. Also available at Main Library are more than 125 public access computers, color photocopiers/printers, laminating, scanning, faxing, and free Wi-Fi.
Specialized spaces include a 425-seat auditorium, public meeting rooms, and a used bookstore. An interior glass block walkway leads to a 600-space parking garage owned by the City of Akron. An outdoor amphitheater and landscaped park complete the complex.
