November 2, 6:30 pm: "March of the Penguins" (2005)
This Oscar-winning National Geographic film details the mating cycle of the emperor penguins of Antarctica, with phenomenal footage of the struggles and hazards that the parents and young must face in order to survive. Narrated by Morgan Freeman, G, 80 min.
November 9, 6:30 pm: "Searching for Sugar Man" (2012)
Sixto Rodriguez was an early 1970’s Detroit musician who put out several albums that were not very successful, and he disappeared from the music scene. Meanwhile, he somehow became a huge icon in South Africa. Filmmaker Malik Bendjelloul sets out to try to track down the mystery of what had happened to him. PG-13, 86 min.

Director Morgan Neville presents the amazing life and legacy of children’s television host Mr. Rogers. PG-13, 95 min.
November 30, 6:30 pm: "Jingle Bell Rocks!" (2013)
A fascinating and entertaining sleigh ride through the world of weird and obscure Christmas music, focusing on the people who collect it, as well as interviews with some of the musicians who made it. Featuring Bob Dorough, who sang "Blue Xmas" with Miles Davis, Dr. Demento, John Waters, and Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips, NR, 94 min.

Main Library, located in the heart of downtown Akron, combines compelling public space with meaningful and relevant public library services for all members of our community. Since opening in 2004, the downtown library welcomes more than one million visitors each year.
Subject divisions include: Business, Government & Science, Culture & AV, Magazines & Newspapers, Special Collections (local history & genealogy), TechZone@Main, Teen, and a 12,000 square feet Children's Library.
Special services available at Main Library include: a Patent & Trademark Resource Center; U.S. Passport and Notary services; a Microbusiness Center; a Maker Space; a resource lab for early childhood educators; and regularly scheduled computer training classes. Also available at Main Library are more than 125 public access computers, color photocopiers/printers, laminating, scanning, faxing, and free Wi-Fi.
Specialized spaces include a 425-seat auditorium, public meeting rooms, and a used bookstore. An interior glass block walkway leads to a 600-space parking garage owned by the City of Akron. An outdoor amphitheater and landscaped park complete the complex.
