As more and more people approach retirement, the need for a solid understanding of basic economic and investment concepts increases. Many Americans just don't know how to invest their assets for income and which asset classes are safe for retirees.  

In this class, we will cover:

• How bonds work in a portfolio and the long-term risks they might expose retirees to.
• The inherent volatility of stocks and whether a retiree should own them.
• What alternative investments are and if they play a role in a retiree’s portfolio.
