What makes your home, neighborhood, or city unique? This series of workshops focuses on memories and understandings of home. You are not required to attend each workshop in the series.
Participants will also have the opportunity to publish their work online. These workshops are open to teenagers and adults, and all backgrounds and experience levels are welcome. Participants are not required to attend each workshop in the series.
What does home mean to you? What makes your home, neighborhood, or city unique? How does a place come to feel like home? Join the Kent State University Wick Poetry Center each Wednesday in June at 11 am for a series of creative writing workshops focused on place, belonging, and home. Participants will have the opportunity to respond to model texts and visuals with their own memories and understandings of home.
