In Ohio, anyone born on or after January 1, 1982, must complete a boater safety course approved by ODNR to operate a motorized vessel with greater than 10 hp. Registration required.

Register online, in person, or by phone at 330.644.7050.

This free education course meets for 7 hours on Saturday, March 25. Bring your own packed lunch. 

Review and testing will be Monday, March 27, 5 to 7 pm.

The course is presented via PowerPoint with a written test at the end. If students successfully pass the written test, they earn their Boating Education Card.

Boaters are required to carry their Boater Education Certificate as proof of boater education.
