March 2, 6:30 PM: The Last Flight (1931)
This overlooked gem is by turns a funny, poignant and tragic tale of the “lost generation,” following a group of pilots in Paris just after the end of WWI, as they aimlessly embark on a drunken binge. An early film by director William Dieterle, with Richard Barthelmess, David Manners, Helen Chandler, and Johnny Mack Brown, 76 min.
March 9, 6:30 PM: Other Men’s Women (1931)
William Wellman helms this drama of railroad workers who are best friends until one falls for the other’s wife. Starring Grant Withers, James Cagney, Mary Astor, and Joan Blondell, 71 min.
March 16, 6:30 PM: Baby Face (1933)
Barbara Stanwyck is a stunner as the ambitious Lily Powers, who is determined to succeed at all costs. Her costumes alone (with gowns by Orry Kelly) are worth a gander. With George Brent, and a very young John Wayne, 71 min.
March 23, 6:30 PM: No More Orchids (1932)
Heiress Carole Lombard flirts with Lyle Talbot on a cruise, only to find herself being forced by her grandfather (C. Aubrey Smith) to marry into royalty in order to save her banker father (Walter Connelly), 78 min.
March 30, 6:30 PM: The Divorcee (1930)
Norma Shearer won a Best Actress Oscar for her role as a wife who decides two can play that game, when she finds out that her husband is unfaithful. Produced by Shearer’s husband, MGM exec Irving Thalberg, with Robert Montgomery, Chester Morris, and Conrad Nagel, 84 min.

Main Library, located in the heart of downtown Akron, combines compelling public space with meaningful and relevant public library services for all members of our community. Since opening in 2004, the downtown library welcomes more than one million visitors each year.
Subject divisions include: Business, Government & Science, Culture & AV, Magazines & Newspapers, Special Collections (local history & genealogy), TechZone@Main, Teen, and a 12,000 square feet Children's Library.
Special services available at Main Library include: a Patent & Trademark Resource Center; U.S. Passport and Notary services; a Microbusiness Center; a Maker Space; a resource lab for early childhood educators; and regularly scheduled computer training classes. Also available at Main Library are more than 125 public access computers, color photocopiers/printers, laminating, scanning, faxing, and free Wi-Fi.
Specialized spaces include a 425-seat auditorium, public meeting rooms, and a used bookstore. An interior glass block walkway leads to a 600-space parking garage owned by the City of Akron. An outdoor amphitheater and landscaped park complete the complex.
