Famed Conservationist E.O. Wilson has proposed conserving 50% of the planet’s surface to avoid a cataclysmic extinction event as well as to protect the ecosystem services that give us clean air to breathe and clean water to drink.

At the present time, only 13% of Summit County is protected by parks and conservation easements. Come and learn how gardening in your own yards can help Save Planet Earth!
