Join us for a virtual class on Google Docs (a word processing program like Microsoft Word) and Google Sheets, a spreadsheet application similar to Microsoft Excel. Register to receive a Zoom link.

This program will be presented on Zoom.

  • You will receive an e-mail with the participation link three days before the program. Please contact the Library if you are unable to attend.
  • If you do not have an e-mail address, please create a free account or call TechZone@Main, 330.643.9145, for assistance.
  • A webcam and microphone may be necessary to participate fully in this interactive event. If you have one or neither of these, your participation may be limited.

The first part of the class will focus on Google Docs (similar to Microsoft Word, but free). With Google Docs, you can create and edit text documents right in your web browser. Even better, multiple people can work together at the same time. You can view other people’s changes in real-time, and every change is saved automatically.

The second part will focus on Google Sheets (an online spreadsheet application comparable to Microsoft Excel, but it is free). The program lets users create and format spreadsheets and simultaneously work with other people in the browser. Use Google Sheets to manage spreadsheet data for home, business, or school purposes.
