Valentine Wreath Workshop for Adults

Make a Valentine wreath for you or a loved one! Pick up a kit at the Highland Square Branch starting January 21, then join us for our virtual class. Register to receive a Zoom link.

Kits will contain a wreath, and materials to decorate it.  Glue is not provided, so participants will need a glue gun or glue to attach items to the wreath.  Instructions are included in kits for people unable to attend the Virtual Zoom class, so if you unable to attend the Zoom class, please still register and come pick up a kit!

Registration begins January 4th at 10 am online, by phone at 330-376-2927, or in person at the Highland Square Branch Library.

  • This program will be presented on Zoom.
  • You will receive an e-mail with the participation weblink 1-2 days before the program. Please contact the Library if you are unable to attend.
  • If you do not have an e-mail address, please contact the Highland Square Branch Library at 330-376-2927 to learn how to participate by phone.
  • A webcam and microphone may be necessary to participate fully in this interactive event. If you have one or neither of these, your participation may be limited.

About the branch

Highland Square is one of Akron’s most iconic communities, hosting numerous street fairs and festivals, eclectic shopping and dining, and a vibrant night life. The extremely diverse neighborhood is home to seniors, young families, artists, educators, and students of all demographics. The Highland Square Branch Library is a reflection of this diverse neighborhood, with a standout LGBTQ collection and a rich programming schedule.

Reference assistance, computers and computer classes, WiFi, copiers, scanning, and faxing round out the services provided within the library. The full scope of community participation, however, is seen in local senior care facilities, local schools and preschools, and neighborhood festivals where Highland Square Branch Library staff plays an active role in creating experiences for participants of all ages.
