You’ve heard of Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, but have you heard of Anna Julia Cooper, Hallie Quinn Brown, or Mary Church Terrell?

2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment. As the country rolls out celebrations, commemorations, and monuments to mark this important anniversary, learn about the unsung heroes of the movement.

Presented by Alison Caplan, Director of Education at the National First Ladies’ Library.

This program will take place online as a Zoom event. Please register in-person, via phone, or online. Please do not share the web link for this program. If someone else is interested in attending, please have them contact the library to register.
