Abbe Turner, author of The Land Of Milk And Money: Lessons Learned And Business Earned By Women In Dairy, milkmaid at her family goat dairy, Lucky Penny Farm in Garrettsville, Ohio and the cheesemaker at Lucky Penny Creamery in nearby Kent will be at the library to talk about cheese making.
The goat and sheep milk produced at Abbe's farm and at partner farms is handcrafted into artisanal cheeses (Chevre, Feta, Ricotta), award-winning confections (Cajeta), and other wholesome, nutritious dairy specialties made available at farm markets and fine restaurants throughout Ohio.
Cheese samples will be provided!
