Drawing in Color Pastel

Community RoomArtist and art instructor Debra DeGregorio demonstrates pastel drawing techniques and basic color theory in an interactive workshop for adults. Beginners are welcome.

Students will learn to see details in nature and translate them to paper by drawing a natural object in complementary color pastel.
DeGregorio is a mixed-media artist based in Akron. She studied printmaking and drawing at Kent State University, ceramics and printmaking at the University of Akron, and earned a Master of Fine Arts in printmaking from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Her work has been exhibited throughout the Midwest and in juried exhibitions nationwide. She currently teaches drawing at Youngstown State University.
