We’re a "watch first – meet later" club, and every month the Keeping It Reel Movie Club meets at the Northwest Akron Branch Library to discuss a movie that everyone has watched on their own using Hoopla or Kanopy (services offered free through the library).
Don’t know how to use Hoopla or Kanopy? No worries, come into the branch and we’ll show you how.
The movie club usually meets on Thursday nights once a month at 6 p.m.

February 21st: Woman Walks Ahead (2017) - Based on a true story, this riveting western follows a headstrong New York widow (Jessica Chastain) as she journeys west to meet Sioux chief Sitting Bull, facing off with an army officer (Sam Rockwell) intent on war with Native Americans.

The Northwest Akron Branch Library, along with its neighbor, the Northwest Family Recreation Center, serves as a center of active learning through a diverse offering of programs and resources.
