Creating/Editing Documents | Monday, April 22 | 2 pm | Discover how to create word processing documents using Microsoft Word 2013. Learn various editing features that allow you to effectively revise documents. Explore ways to quickly copy and move text. Practice preparing files using Word's document templates to begin documents. Attendance at Basic Computer Skills is preferred.
Formatting Text & Paragraphs | Monday, April 22 | 6 pm | Make your document stand out! Explore the different ways to change how text looks. Learn how to change the style and effect of text. Discover additional formatting techniques that can be applied to document paragraphs. Attendance at MS Word, Part 1 is preferred.
More Useful Formatting Tools | Tuesday, April 23 | 2 pm | Discover how to use more useful tools to edit your documents like signature lines, creating a PDF, comments, tables, formulas to perform math functions, create charts, create a book format, and protect your document. Attendance at MS Word, Part 2 is preferred.
Free Alternatives to Microsoft Word | Tuesday, April 23 | 6 pm | In the final class of the Microsoft Word Series, we’ll explore free alternatives to Microsoft Word. Learn about free word processing programs like Libre Office, Open Office and/or Google Docs. Attendance at Basic Computer Skills is preferred.

The Nordonia Hills Branch Library is your community information center, providing individualized reference service and access to information for citizens while serving the four Nordonia Hills communities: Macedonia, Northfield Center, Northfield Village, and Sagamore Hills.
The library is a place to find computers and computer classes, WiFi, copying, scanning and faxing, and space for local community groups to meet throughout the year. In addition, library staff provides educational support and outreach to the Nordonia Hills schools, local early childhood and homeschool organizations, senior communities, governmental units, and other neighborhood service and social organizations. We offer a solid collection of books, movies, and music ready for you to borrow. We also offer regular and unique programs for all ages, often with a local focus or theme. Author visits, crafters, performers and gamers, teen meet-ups, Story Times, interactive nature and art events, a writers’ guild, wellness programs, and engaging discussion groups (including a Socrates Cafe), are all available at the Nordonia Hills Branch Library.
