Join Jon Miller, director of The University of Akron Press, for a presentation on the recent publication of "Akron at 200: A Bicentennial History," which includes a rich collection of in-depth essays.
This book includes the earliest days of the city's history to present and is a celebration of 200 years of history. Jon will talk about significant figures, such as John Brown and Sojourner Truth, entrepreneurs, musicians, athletes, and other citizens who contributed to the growth and reputation of the city. This event will include a Q&A.
