The Oblivion Project, will present an informal and informative concert on the Nuevo Tango works of Argentine tango master Astor Piazzolla.

The Oblivion Project, formed in 2003, is dedicated to the exploration and performance of the over 3,000 Nuevo Tango works of Astor Piazzolla. For the past decade, musicians from all across the Americas have collaborated to explore and share the uncompromisingly unique, unequivocally attractive language of Piazzolla’s tangos.

  • Tuesday, March 25, 6 pm at Portage Lakes Branch Library
  • Wednesday, March 26, 2 pm at Richfield Branch Library
  • Thursday, March 27, 6 pm at Kenmore Branch Library

Culminating concert on Sunday, March 30, 2 pm at Main Library.

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) presents a week-long World Tour of Music residency series connecting students and community with unique cultures from major world groups. The program aims to broaden communities’ positive exposure to different cultures, help them recognize and respect differences and similarities between themselves and persons of other cultures, and strengthen their own cultural identity. The week culminates in a concert for the community.

The library experience for customers of the Richfield Branch Library is eclectic and energizing. A rich collection of books, music and movies complement programs for all ages, including storytime and interactive play opportunities, book discussion, and more. Computers and computer classes, WiFi, printing, copying, scanning, and faxing help to make the Richfield Branch Library a one-stop spot for the community's educational and entertainment needs and interests.

In the community, you will find librarians working closely with Richfield Government and Recreation, the local schools, the Garden Club, Richfield Chamber of Commerce, Richfield Heritage Preserve, and more. At the library, opportunities for individual and family engagement include an extensive NatureConnect interactive space, an ongoing StoryWalk collaboration along the Carter Pedigo Trail, and other hands-on, participatory exploration opportunities. Every time you visit the Richfield Branch Library, there is something to do, play, study, explore, or observe—and the chance to make a memory.
