Create a Shaker fan broom and learn about the enigmatic Shakers that invented it. Look back at local and American history, and use rudimentary tools to make a beautiful, functional piece to take home.

Learn about the materials used in broom making, some folklore, and the history and evolution of brooms from round to fan shapes.
Also hear about the importance of broom making to the economy of the Western Reserve region of Ohio.
