Learn about the maple sugaring process from volunteer Jim of the Ohio Sportsman's Farmers League. From tapping to processing, you will follow the process of creating maple syrup in Northeast Ohio.
Sap collection begins in February when the days are warm, and the nights are cold. The sap is then refined in an evaporator at a sugar house, bottled, and made available to the public. Volunteer Jim will explain the maple sugaring process through images and short videos. Small samples of maple syrup available while supplies last.
