The “Work It Out Wombats!” Design Process is a series of two workshops that engage families in active, hands-on learning experiences around the PBS KIDS program “Work It Out Wombats!”. The learning focus for this workshop series is computational thinking for preschoolers, a way of thinking that enables them to solve problems, express themselves, and accomplish tasks using the practices, processes, and ideas at the core of computer science.
- A free, fun, educational event with hands-on activities for preschoolers (ages 3-6). Siblings are welcome to attend.
- A light lunch will be served at the start of each session.
- Each family will receive free books!
- Families who attend both sessions will receive a free tablet!

The Northwest Akron Branch Library, along with its neighbor, the Northwest Family Recreation Center, serves as a center of active learning through a diverse offering of programs and resources.
